  This version of Windows 95 has been patched to work on modern Intel CPUs
  and so should run in VirtualBox
on any modern system.
  
  At the login screen, simply click "OK" or press Return without entering

  The following programs have been installed:
  
  * Microsoft Office 95
  *
Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95
  * WinZip 8.1 - for working with zip files, the last version to support
  
Windows 95.
  * SciTech Display Doctor - video driver for VirtualBox.
  * Rain - to prevent high CPU usage on
the host.
  * Tweak UI
  * comctl32.dll version 4.72 - Generally required by apps designed for
   Windows
98.
  * Heidi Eraser 5.7 - used to help compress the disk image. You probably
   won't need it.
  
 
Networking has been configured for TCP/IP.
  
  Otherwise this is a default Windows 95C install. Note that
many default
  features will not function in the 21st century, in particular the
  Microsoft Network and other
Online Services you will find on the
  desktop. They have been left installed as a historical curiosity.
  
  Windows 95C comes with Internet Explorer 3.0 preinstalled. On the
  desktop you will find installers for IE
4.0, which was bundled with this
  version of Windows, and IE 5.5 SP2, which is the last version to support
 
Windows 95.
